c1870 4 American Cut Frosted Hand Blown Grape Table Wine Water Goblets Glasses

Presented is a beautiful set of 4 American water goblets or table wine glasses. These glasses date to around the 1860s-1870s. The glasses are fabulously cut and frosted with a design of grape clusters, leaves and vines around the bowl. The stems are done in an elegant paneled or faceted design. These are hand blown glass pieces, with a polished pontil visible on the bottom. Great quality work. Please note, we have other sets of glasses of various types in this same pattern, which you can find in our store.

The set of four glasses is in great condition. There is some typical shelf wear to the undersides of the feet, as you'd expect considering the age of the glasses. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. We are including with this set four additional matching glasses that do have minor chips, as a bonus. These glasses could easily have the chips ground down and they would then be perfectly useable. Of the four extra glasses, one has a very small rim chip, two have fairly minor rim chips, and one has a small chip to the foot. The price of the set does not reflect these four glasses, they are being included as a bonus.

Each glass is about 6 1/4 inches tall.
