Presented is a great set of 10 American coin silver coffee or teaspoons, dating to circa 1855-1865. The spoons are made in a classic Medallion pattern, featuring a design of a Greco-Roman helmeted warrior in profile inside a round medallion on the handles. Variations of this pattern were popular in the 1850s-1860s, and were produced by many of the big name maker's like Gorham and John Wendt.
This set is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each piece is marked 'Coin' for 900 purity silver.
Each spoon is about 5 inches long.
