Presented is a lovely coin or sterling silver bell from Gorham. This piece displays a nice floral border around the bottom edge with a child's face on either side. The handle has small beaded decoration around the finial and base. There is a monogram on the top of the bell, JKP, in a fancy script.
The interior of the bell is marked with the old Gorham mark's mark, dating the piece to the 1850s-1860s.
This bell has been tested and is guaranteed to be at least 900 purity silver(coin silver).
This piece is in great overall condition. There is some wear to the pattern decorations. The bell has a nice ring. There are no breaks, no splits, and no repairs.
Measurements: 2 1/8 inches in diameter and 4 1/8 inches tall
