Presented is a fantastic set of 11 American coin silver forks. These forks were made by Palmer & Bachelder and date to around the 1850s. The forks are made in a lovely classic Olive pattern, sometimes called the Tuscan or Tuscany pattern. The forks are well made, with a nice feeling of weight and balance in the hand. The forks are not monogrammed on the front of the handle, but the back of the handle has a monogram of GWW in script.
This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each fork is stamped Palmer & Bachelder.
Each fork is about 7 3/4 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 497 grams or 17.5 regular ounces. -jm
