Presented is a beautiful 14 karat multi color gold pin or brooch. This piece dates to around the 1850s-1880s and is done in a lovely Renaissance Revival style. The brooch features a detailed design of five petaled flowers and leaves, done in white and green gold against the yellow of the rest of the pin. The center of the brooch has a design of a bird in yellow and green gold against rose gold. All the designs are well done with fine hand engraved texturing and detailing. The pin has an old capped C style clasp, with a loop in the back for a lapel watch or drop.

This piece is in great condition. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.

This piece is not stamped or hallmarked but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.

The pin is about 2 1/4 inches long.

This piece weighs 7.2 grams.
