Regular price
$96.00
Presented is a fine English Staffordshire porcelain serving dish or small platter, likely by Davenport. This piece dates to around the 1830s-1850s. The pattern is white with sage green rims, decorated with gilt scrollwork and florettes in a peach or light orange color. Around the center are little hand painted sprays of colorful flowers, in delicate spring shades of pink, blue, yellow, purple and green, no two exactly alike.
This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially considering the age and material. The dish has some minor wear to the gilding and the peach flowers. The dish rings nice and clearly when tapped. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
The dish measures about 10 3/4 by 9 5/8 by 1 5/8 inches, LxWxH. -jm
