Presented is a fine pair of American coin silver serving or table spoons. These spoons are by T.K. Emery and date to circa 1810-1820. The spoons are done in a classic Fiddle pattern, with a downward turned handle and shoulders above the bowl. The terminal of the handle has an old monogram of 'JDW' in script. Beneath this monogram is a presentation inscription, 'C.L.W.F. to J.D.W.M.'
The spoons are in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is stamped on the back with the maker's mark for T. K. Emery of Boston.
Each spoon is about 9 1/4 inches long.
