Presented is a great set of 3 oval serving dishes from Barr, Flight, and Barr. This set was likely produced between 1807-1813 and displays a bright orange band with richly gilt flowers and leafy vines. The dishes have a nice soft scalloped edge and gilding along the rim.

We are including with his set a free quatrefoil shaped serving dish which has been broken but professionally restored, which came to us as part of the lot. The piece, however, displays a hand-done mark from Barr, Flight, and Barr that the oval dishes do not have. The mark reads: “Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester / Flight & Barr Coventry Street, London / Manufacturers to their Majesties & Royal Family”. If you do not want this free piece, please let us know and we will not ship it to you.
The underside of each oval server has been marked under the glaze with a B for Barr, Flight, and Barr.
This set of oval serving dishes are in great overall condition, especially considering age. There are some losses to the paint and gilding, mostly on the edge and the ribbed high points. The ribbing has likely lost paint from the dishes being stacked on top of each other. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
Measurements: 11 1/8 inches long, 7 3/4 inches wide, and about 1 1/2 inches tall -kc
