Presented is a fabulous set of 12 American coin silver coffee spoons. These spoons date to around the 1780s-1790s. The spoons are done in a simple, classical form, with a downward turn to the ends of the pointed handles. Each spoon has a monogram of TFH on the front of the handle. This is quite an old set, and it's particularly amazing to see such old American spoons still in a set of 12, so this is a great opportunity for any collector.
The spoons are in great overall condition. Two of the spoons have a couple of dings to their bowls, but these are not extremely noticeable and there is nothing else of any consequence, particularly considering the age of the set. There are no splits, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The spoons are not stamped or hallmarked, but we guarantee them to be 900/coin purity silver.
Each spoon is about 5 3/8 inches long.
