Presented is a very nice 14K gold tanzanite and diamond ring. The top of the ring is white gold and the band is yellow gold. The stones are half bezel set in the white gold top of the ring. The oval tanzanite is flanked by four modern brilliant round diamonds. The larger diamonds are about 13-14 points in size, and the smaller diamonds are 10 points. The total diamond weight is at minimum 45 points each or close to 1/2 a carat, possibly more. The diamonds have good H-I-J color and I clarity. The tanzanite has a nice violet-blue color. The tanzanite is approximately 1/2 a carat in weight, possibly more. This ring is fairly modern.
The ring is marked on the inside of the band with 14K for 14K gold purity. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.
The ring is in excellent condition. The diamonds are all in great shape. There is a small chip to the top surface of the tanzanite. It is only noticeable on close inspection, and is fairly minor. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents and no repairs.
The ring is a size 3 3/4. It can be sized up or down.
