Bright Vintage 1920s/1930s Twisted Woven Emerald/Ruby/Pearl Necklace, India?

Presented is an awesome vintage necklace made with strands of genuine emeralds, rubies, and pearls, most likely made in India.

It dates from circa the 1920s to the 1930s.

This piece features a richly woven twisted strand of pebble-like genuine green emeralds, red rubies, and real pearls.  The rubies especially are a great color though heavily included.

The way the stones are woven is highly indicative of Indian origin.

These gems are strung together with string and also have a braided green, gold, and white strand which rests against the back of the neck.  There is a section of gold-colored round beads adorning each side of the necklace.

The necklace does not have a clasp, but is knotted in the back and is worn by slipping over your head.

There are no problems with this piece.  It is in very nice condition.
