Best Quality Victorian 14K Gold Hair Mourning Jewelry Bracelet
Presented is one of the finest quality pieces of mourning jewelry you will find.
This bracelet is American Victorian and was made around the 1840s. This is done
in a classic design, with thick, finely woven/braided hair attached to a large,
beautifully engraved yellow gold clasp. The center of the clasp has a locket
with another lock of plaited/braided hair in it. The back of the clasp is
engraved: ES to A Dutton. There is a nice safety chain for added security.
This piece is in excellent condition, especially considering its age. As you
can see in the photographs below, the hair is still tightly woven together and
there are no breaks in the band. The clasp has no dents or damages.

Inside the locket, the glass compartment measures 0.77 inches (19.7 mm) east to west, and 0.593 inches (15 mm) north to south.
