Presented is a beautiful art glass vase by Young & Constantin. This is a relatively contemporary piece, likely made in the second half of the 20th century. The glass is made in an elegant trumpet form, in wine red/purple glass with a swirled interior weave pattern in blue. The piece stands at a very impressive height, and the mouth is quite wide, so it makes a very eye-catching piece and would be even more so with a sizable floral arrangement, fresh or dried. The color is very vibrant, making this a very appealing piece.
This piece is in excellent condition. There is some shelf wear to the underside, but nothing more than you'd expect. Some dust visible around the sides of the base, which can easily be cleaned off. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
The underside is signed for Young & Constantin as well as a number 0089686.
