Presented is a fancy and large sterling silver soup or punch ladle from Tiffany & Co. This piece is in the classic Wave Edge pattern, which was patented in 1884. The pattern displays elegant shells and scrolls along both sides of the handle, and a beautifully scalloped bowl. There is a monogram on the front of the handle, HRPP, in a flowing script.
The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Tiffany & Co and the patent date.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. The pattern details are well-defined. There are no breaks, and no repairs.
