Beautiful Pair Retro 18k Gold Citrine & Diamond Screwback Earrings
Presented is a stunning pair of 18 karat gold and citrine earrings. These earrings date to around the 1950s-1960s and are likely of American make. The earrings are each set with an emerald cut citrine, of about 4.8 carats in weight, or 12.1 by 10.3 by 5.9 millimeters. This is a real, mined-from-the-ground stone, verified by our gemologist. Each earring has three little accent diamonds, very sparkly stones set in white gold so they really pop. The earrings have attached threaded screw style backs, suitable for wear with pierced or unpierced ears. These earrings are in great condition. The citrines are well set, with no chips. There are no breaks and no repairs.
These earrings are stamped 18k and a maker's mark of PL. The stamp is a little indistinct but still readable, and we have tested these pieces with nitric acid and guarantee them to be 18 karat gold.
Each earring is about 5/8 of an inch long.
The total weight for the pair is 6.4 grams.
