Beautiful Pair Portuguese 833 Silver 6 3/8" Low 2 Light Candelabra Candlesticks

Presented is a beautiful pair of Portuguese .833 silver double candlesticks/candelabra, dating to the second half of the 20th century. The candlesticks are made in a very ornate style, with classical shell and scroll type decoration around the bases, socles, and bobeches, acanthus leaf designs around the midpoint, and elegantly scrolled arms. The candlesticks are made in an appealing low height, and rest on four short feet. This pair of silver candlesticks is not weighted or filled, all the weight is silver and they are quite well cast and heavy for their size.
Each base edge is marked with the Portuguese post-1938 2nd standard mark for .833 purity silver and the city of Oporto. There is also a maker's mark. The marks on both aren't entirely clear, especially the 8 on the purity is cut off, but they are tested and guaranteed 833 purity silver.
This pair is in excellent overall condition. The decorations are well-defined. There are no dents, no breaks, and no repairs.
Measurements: Both candelabras measures 8 3/4 inches across the two arms. The base is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The candlesticks are 6 3/8 inches tall.
