Beautiful pair 14k Gold & Carved Coral Rose Clipback Earrings

Presented is a beautiful pair of 14 karat gold and carved coral earrings. These are American earrings, dating to around the 1950s-1960s. Each earring is done in the form of a rose, with the flower fabulously hand carved from mottled pink and white coral. The rose leaves and stem are done in bright gold with an eye-catching Florentine finish. The earrings have clip style backs for wear with unpierced or pierced ears. A jeweler could easily convert the earrings for wear with only pierced ears by adding posts.

These earrings are in excellent condition. The coral carvings are securely set, with no chips. The clipbacks have a good strong spring mechanism. There are no splits, no breaks, no chips, and no repairs.

The earrings are stamped 14k on the back.

Each earring is about 1 1/4 inches long.

This piece weighs 12.6 grams.
