Presented is a fantastic quality pair of Italian sterling silver handle grape shears. The shears have heavy duty stainless steel blades perfect for snipping through the stems of clusters of grapes, while the handles are well cast from sterling silver, in a thematic grape cluster, vine and leaf motif. A very handsome and useable pair.
These shears are in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The handles are stamped sterling, though the stamps are hard to read; we have verified that the handles are silver via testing with nitric acid. The blades are marked stainless and Italy.
These shears are about 7 1/2 inches long. The shears weigh 137.8 grams or 4.9 regular ounces. Although the blades are stainless steel, the majority of this weight is in the silver handles. -jm
