Beautiful Italian 18k Gold & Diamond Pin / Brooch

Presented is a beautiful 18 karat gold and diamond pin or brooch. This is an
Italian piece, likely made within the past 30 years. The pin is done in a
swirled ropetwist design, surrounding a comet or shooting star shape, with
dazzling diamonds set throughout. The ropetwist design has a bright finish,
while the rays and tails of the shooting star have an eye-catching brushed
finish. The largest diamond, set in the center of the star, is about 20 points
in size, of VS-1 clarity and I color. There are 22 additional diamonds scattered
throughout the pin, each at least 3 points in size, vibrant stones of VS or SI-1
clarity and I color. The diamonds are all modern brilliant cut stones, set in
white gold so they really pop. The total diamond weight is at least 86 points,
maybe as much a 1 carat. The brooch has a rollover style safety clasp.
