Presented is a beautiful Hanua German pierced silver bowl from 1870-1920. This piece has ornate flowers around the sides. At the center of the bowl, there are scenes of people of dancing and playing musical instruments. There is lattice around the bowl which transitions the design into a beautiful boarder. The sides display two cartouches that have never been monogrammed along with large bouquets and posed children.

This piece is marked with .800 purity silver along with Hanua Pseudo-marks. There is a small crown mark and the 800 mark on the underside of the bowl. The same crown mark can also be seen in the top of the maypole. There is another mark in the dancing scene of a FH in a triangle.

This piece is in good condition. The design has many well-defined details. There are a few splits in the silver mostly close to the edge. There are also a few solder marks from where splits have been repaired. These places are hardly noticeable from a normal view of the bowl, and can really only be seen from the underside. This is a truly artistic piece. This piece has never been monogrammed.
