Presented is a beautiful sterling silver pierced bon bon or nut spoon from Gorham. This piece is in the Luxembourg pattern, which was patented in 1893 and displays fancy scrolls along the handle and around the edge of the bowl. The bowl is decorated with a gold wash and cross-hash piercework.
The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Gorham.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. The pattern decorations are crisp and the spoon is free of monograms. There is very little wear to the gold wash, mostly on the reverse. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks and no repairs.
