Presented is a beautiful platinum and diamond ring. The ring has a four prong central setting that can accommodate a stone of about 3.6 millimeters by 4.6 millimeters, but of course there is a good bit of flexibility to this and a jeweler could set a wide variety of cuts and sizes of diamond or other stone. The ring is set with 14 wonderful quality diamonds of VS-1 clarity and G color. The total diamond weight already set in the ring is 53 points, as marked on the tag. The platinum band has an 18 karat white gold sizing insert, that works with a spring mechanism, so it will fit a size 6 up to 7. Only the sizing insert is 18 karat gold, the ring itself is tested and guaranteed platinum. The tag price on this ring as it would have been sold by the original store is $4,000, so at the price we're offering, this is quite a deal.
This ring is in pristine condition. This is brand new merchandise, acquired from a jewelry store going out of business.
There are probably platinum hallmarks underneath the sizing inserts, but we did not want to take out the inserts as we weren't sure we could get them back in. However it would be easy for a jeweler to remove the sizing inserts and there is no risk of damage to the platinum ring at all. The ring has been nitric acid tested and is guaranteed platinum. The sizing insert is hallmarked with the size range of the ring, 6-7, and 750 for 18 karat gold.
Due to the inserts, the ring can fit between 6 and 7, according to the tag and the stamp.
