Beautiful 18k Gold & Plique A Jour Enamel Fish in Net Pendant

Presented is a beautiful 18 karat gold and plique-a-jour pendant. This piece
is very likely of Italian make, and likely dates to the 1970s-1980s. The pendant
is done as a stylized net, made up of criss-crossed chains all withing a
triangular ropetwist design frame. In the center of the 'net' is a colorful
fish, made of gold set with shades of blue, green, orange, yellow and red
enamel. The head and tail of the fish have opaque white enamel, while the rest
is translucent, allowing light to shine through beautifully as the photo shows,
like a stained glass window.

The pendant is stamped 750 for 18 karat gold on the loop/bail at the top.

The pendant is in great condition. The enamel has no chips or losses, it
looks perfect. The gold has no breaks and no repairs.

The pendant measures about 2 5/8 inches wide by 3 inches long, including the
bail/loop at the top.

This piece weighs 15.1 grams.
