Beautiful 14k Yellow Gold Jadeite Jade Garnet Pin/Brooch

Presented is a beautiful 14 karat gold, jade and garnet pin or brooch. This is an American piece, likely made in the last 30 years. The brooch is done in a lovely openwork design, very ornate and appealing. The center is set with an oval cabochon of green jadeite jade, with round faceted garnets around the edge. The jadeite is a rich green with faint mottling, probably dyed. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp, very sturdy and secure.

This pin is in great condition. The garnets and jade are securely set. There are no breaks and no repairs.

The pin is stamped and guaranteed 14k. The stamp is hard to read, but we have tested this piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.

The pin measures about 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches.
