Beautiful 14k Yellow Gold 18k White Gold Blue Labradorite Cabochon Ring

Presented is an elegant 14 karat and 18 karat gold and labradorite ring. This is an American made piece, and relatively contemporary. The ring is set with an oval cabochon of labradorite measuring about 13.1 by 9.6. The band of the ring is 14k yellow gold, while the setting of the stone is 18k white, so the blue of the stone really pops.

The ring is in good overall condition. The labradorite stone is securely set. It has some minor surface abrasions, and a smooth chip in the 6-7 o'clock position as can be seen in the first photo. The band has no breaks and no repairs.

This piece is stamped and guaranteed 14k, as well as having a maker's mark that looks like a D. We have tested the white portion with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 18 karat gold.

The ring is a size 6. The head of the ring measures about 14.3 millimeters north to south, while the band is about 1.8 millimeters wide at the narrowest point.

The ring weighs 3.7 grams.
