Attractive Vintage 14k Gold Aquamarine Bow Pin Brooch

Presented is a charming 14K gold and aquamarine bow pin. The pin has a lovely
aquamarine prong set at the center in an elegant yellow gold mounting done in
the form of a bow. The aquamarine measures approximately 6 millimeters by 8
millimeters. We have estimated the carat weight of the amethyst to be at least
50 points or ½ carat. It may be larger. The pin was made between 1930 and the
1960, most likely in the 1940s or 1950s. This piece is almost certainly
American in origin. The pin is not marked. We have tested it with nitric acid
and guarantee it to be 14K gold.
The condition is excellent. The aquamarine is securely prong set. There are
no chips, no cracks, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The pin measures 5/8 inch by 1 3/8 inches.
The weight is 5.8 grams.
