Regular price
$501.00
Presented is an antique sterling silver salad serving fork and spoon set made by Whiting. This piece is in the Lily pattern, which was patented in 1902 and it is old, original production, within a year or two of that patent date, based on the maker's marks and patent date stamp. Each handle is finely cast with flowing leaves and beautiful lily flowers very much in the Art Nouveau style of the time to which the set dates. The front of each handle has a Gothic style monogram of the letter B.
The back of each handle is marked for Whiting, patent 1902 and sterling silver purity.
This set is in excellent condition for its age and the designs are crisp. No splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Spoon Length: 8 7/8 inches.
Fork Length: 9 inches.
Total Weight: 221 grams or 7.8 regular ounces.
