Presented is an interesting Italian 18K gold, diamond and enamel pin depicting an Art Deco style woman viewed from behind. The pin is beautifully enameled in black and green and set with three little accent diamonds (about 1 point in size each). The pin has a loop on the reverse so that it can also be worn as a pendant. Although it is done in the Art Deco style, this piece is fairly modern.
The pin is marked on the reverse with Italian gold hallmarks including 750 for 18K gold, except for this hallmark all the other hallmarks appear to have been deliberately removed. Not sure the reason for this but it has no effect on the pin. We have tested the pin with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 18K gold.
The condition is excellent. The enameling is in great shape. There are no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The pin measures 1/2 inch by 2 inches.
The weight is 5.9 grams.
