Presented is a splendid, 14 karat yellow gold and sapphire bar pin made in America around 1920. This piece is classically designed in the style of the times, with a platinum plated top that is done in a filigree form with a mill-grain finish. The platinum topped portions are nicely decorated with leaf, floral and intricately patterned designs. The center is securely set with a nice, cornflower blue sapphire.
The clasp is marked 14K and the maker's hallmark.
This piece is in fabulous overall condition. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no chips and no repairs.
