Presented is a wonderful set of four small, flat porcelain dishes from Denmark. The dishes could be used for many different purposes such as a small mint dish, teabag dish, an ashtray or a variety of other things. The dishes are painted with shades of blue and there is a nice glaze over all pieces. The top of each dish depicts a different location or building in Denmark. The four dishes presented in this lot have pictures of a small cottage in a wooded area called Rebild, a cathedral filled city on the water called Egeskov Slot, a beautiful and large triangular building called Grundtvigskirken and a large rounded tower of a building called Rundetaarn.
They are labeled as such on the reverse side along with the Bing & Grondahl hallmark.
The condition of the dishes is excellent. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, no splits, no repairs and no other problems of any kind.
Each dish is a square with sides measuring 3 1/8 inches long.
