Presented is a great sterling silver fish serving knife from Whiting, although this piece could be used to serve a variety of foods. This piece is in the classic Louis XV pattern, which was patented in 1891. This server displays the elegant scroll details along the edge of the handle. There are scroll decorations around the side of the serving end.
The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Whiting and the patent date. This server is in great overall condition. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
