Presented is an antique, sterling silver serving spoon made by Wallace during the first quarter of the 20th century. This piece is in the Berain pattern, which was patented in 1907. This piece is old, original production. The handle is beautifully designed with scrolls and flourishes and the bowl, which has a gold wash, is hand chased with detailed fruits. The bowl is a reproduction of an English, Victorian form. The handle has no monogram.
The back is marked for Wallace and sterling.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, but no damages and no repairs.
