Presented is a wonderful, Italian carved cameo pin in a 10 karat gold mounting
from the first half of the 1900s. The cameo was most likely made in Italy, while
the gold setting or frame was most likely made in America. The cameo is great
quality and shows a scene of a woman in a park crossing a bridge. The frame has
a lovely twisted rope border. The clasp has a safety latch for added security.
The clasp is marked 10K and the piece has been tested with nitric acid and
is guaranteed to be 10 karat gold purity.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There are no cracks, no
breaks, no damages and no repairs.
The cameo measures 1 1/2 by 1 7/8 inches and weighs 9 grams.
