Presented is a lovely Tiffany & Co sterling silver plate or charger. This piece dates to 1907-1947. The dish is done in an elegant, simple form, with raised ribs around the edge. The plate has a finely engraved crest of tower above a banner reading 'Virtue Mine Honor.' This crest is associated with the Scottish MacLean clan.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co. maker's mark, sterling 925-1000 and the initial 'M' for the company director between 1907-1947, John C. Moore II.
The plate is about 10 3/8 inches in diameter.
The plate weighs 579 grams or 20.4 regular ounces.
