Presented is an antique, solid sterling silver punch or soup ladle made by Towle during the late 1800s or early 1900s. The bowl and handle are finely engraved with decorations including clovers, thistles and leaves. The piece has a nice matte finish. The ladle has never been monogrammed.
The back is marked for Towle, sterling silver purity and patent August, 16, 1887.
This piece is in excellent overall condition and the engravings are crisp.
