Presented is an antique, Georgian coin silver and natural cowrie shell snuff box made during the mid to late1700s. The shell is securely mounted with coin silver and has a hinged lid. The box is finely engraved with an ornate monogram.
This piece is guaranteed to be at least 900 purity, but is testing closer to 925 sterling or 950 purity silver.
This piece is in great overall condition for its age. The hinge has some wear to it but still works well.
