Antique Sterling Silver Gorham Lancaster 1897 Gold Fruit Serving Spoons 8 1/2"
Regular price
$300.00
Presented is an antique pair of sterling silver serving spoons made by Gorham during the late 1800s or early 1900s. This pair is in the Lancaster or Lancaster Rose pattern, which was patented in 1897. These spoons are old, original production. The bowls have a gold wash and are hand chased in the English, 19th century fruit pattern. The chasing on the bowls is killer quality, it is just as good as the original English craftsman. The spoons have never been monogrammed.
The back of each spoon is marked for Gorham and sterling silver purity.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age and the designs are crisp. There is minor surface wear, but no damages and no repairs.
Length: 8 1/2 inches.
Weight: 107 grams or 3.8 regular ounces.
