Presented is an antique or vintage, sterling silver pierced strainer ladle or sugar sifter made by Gorham during the first quarter of the 1900s. This piece is in the multi-motif Douglas pattern, which was patented in 1899. The handle is beautifully decorated with raised flower designs and has never been monogrammed.
The back is marked for Gorham and sterling silver purity.
This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially for its age and the designs are crisp. There is only minor surface wear.
