Presented is a rare, sterling silver tomato server made by Durgin during the early 1900s. This piece is done in the New Standish pattern, which was patented in 1905. The handle has a leaf accent at the tip and the base is pierced with a pretty design. The handle has never been monogrammed.
The handle is marked for Durgin, Shreve Crump & Low and sterling silver purity.
This piece is in great condition. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, but there are no dents and no repairs.
