Presented is an antique, sterling silver serving spoon made by Dominick & Haff during the late 19th century. This piece is done in the Rococo pattern, which was patented in 1888 and this is old, original production. The front of the handle and top of the bowl are finely decorated with lovely flowers and leaves.
The back is marked for Dominick & Haff, sterling silver purity, the patent date of 1888, and it has a retailer's mark for Theodore B Starr along with a monogram of AB on the back top of the handle.
This piece is in great overall condition and the designs are crisp. There is minimal surface wear with no damages and no repairs.
