Presented is an antique, sterling silver fish, ice cream or pastry slice/knife made by Dominick & Haff during the late 19th century. This piece is in the Charles II pattern, which was patented in 1894. This piece is old, original production. The raised decorations are crisp and the blade has an old, script monogram of the initials APL.
The back of the handle is marked with Dominick & Haff's hallmark, sterling, patent 1894 and it has a retailer's mark for William Aise & Son.
This piece is in great condition for its age. There is minor surface wear, but no damages and no repairs.
