BEST REED & BARTON STERLING SILVER SERVING SPOON LES SIX FLEURS PATT. 1901 Presented is a fantastic quality sterling silver berry or casserole spoon by Reed & Barton. This spoon is done in the attractive Les Six Fleurs pattern. The flowers decorating the bowl and stem are beautifully rendered, and the details are quite crisp. This is a very well-constructed and high quality piece of American silver work, and would be an asset to any home or collection.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The reverse of the stem is hallmarked with the Reed & Barton mark as well as 'sterling' and 'pat. appl'd for', dating this to the year the pattern was registered, 1901. Further down the stem is the retail mark for Bigelow, Kennard & Co.
