Presented is an fabulous antique wooden box. This good sized box is raised on four ball feet. This box is beautifully hand painted on all five sides. The lid is painted with a wonderful classical Greco Roman scene. The musicians are playing for the royal family. (This box is done in the manner of William Morris, a major art designer in England.) We believe this box is most likely European, however it could be American. It dates circa 1880 through 1900.

This box is in great condition. There are minor surface scratches/minor flakes to the paint. The hinges are in good working condition. We do not have a key for the lock. Please scroll down to view the photographs below.
