Antique Gorham Sterling Silver Wooden Handle Coffee Teapot NO MONO 10 1/4"

Presented is a fabulous Gorham sterling silver coffee or teapot. This piece dates to circa 1900-1910. The teapot is done in the style of the New York/Philadelphia silversmiths, as adapted from a much older English style. The interior of the pot is spotlessly clean, while the exterior is polished to a bright mirror finish, ready for use or display.

This piece is in great condition. The wooden handle is in good shape, with no splits or cracks. There have been a couple of dents removed professionally, which is not noticeable from the exterior. There are no splits, no leaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Gorham, as well as the number A5812 and the capacity of 2 1/8 pints.

The pot stands about 10 1/4 inches tall.

The pot weighs 695.3 grams or 24.5 regular ounces.
