Presented is a great antique coin silver fish server made by Gorham Manufacturing Company. The fish server is done in the Olive pattern which was first produced in 1865. The blade is beautifully engraved with flowers, scrolls and leaves. The end of the handle is monogrammed with a W in script.
The server is marked on the reverse with Gorham’s old company hallmarks. Tested and guaranteed to be 900 purity coin silver.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The fish server is 11 5/8 inches long.
The weight is 115.5 grams or 4 ounces.
