Presented is an antique, English sterling silver stuffing or serving spoon made by Solomon Hougham of London in 1809. This Georgian, early 19th century piece is done in a classic form. The front of the handle has a Gothic style engraving of the letter F above the year 1895. The monogram was engraved many years after original production.
The back is marked with the crowned leopard's head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver purity, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter O for the year 1809 and a maker's mark for Solomon Hougham.
This piece is in great overall condition considering age. There is minor surface wear but no damages and no repairs.
