Antique English Georgian Hand Engraved 14K Yellow Gold Cufflinks
Presented is a pair of antique, hand-hammered and engraved 14 karat gold men's cuff links made in England in the early to mid 1800's. The design is oval shaped with a highly detailed engraving on both top and bottom links. The motif features a buckled belt wrapping around the border surrounding in the center, a cluster of textured coiled forms. These cufflinks were likely created for a special fraternity or order of well-heeled Georgian gentlemen.
There are no maker marks or stamps on these, as is expected with authentic jewelry of this period, but we guarantee the 14 karat gold purity on these cufflinks for you.
The condition of the cufflinks is good. There are no flaws or gold loss on one sleeve set. The other shows, on one link only, some solder repair and a small crack along the seam, but is still perfectly functional and can be positioned as the bottom link so that it will never be seen.
Dimensions: 5/8 inches tall by 1/2 inch wide with just over 3/4 inches between links
Weight: 4.7 grams
