Presented is an antique, 9 karat yellow gold and natural amethyst gemstone pin or small brooch made during the late 1800s or very early 1900s. This piece is English or Scottish in origin. The pin is done in a neat openwork form and the gemstones are securely bezel set and well matched.
The back of the pin is marked 9CT. The pin shaft is gilded metal.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age.
