Presented is a large antique sterling silver berry or casserole serving spoon made by Dominick & Haff. The spoon is done in the No. 10 pattern which was first produced in 1896. The spoon has an elegant design of flowers and scrolls on both the handle and the bowl. The end of the handle is engraved with old original monogram of ACC in a fancy script.
The spoon is marked on the reverse with a maker’s mark for Dominick & Haff, Sterling, Pat’d. ’96, and Weld & Sons for the retailer.
The condition is excellent. The bowl of the spoon has some surface wear commensurate with age and light use, but this is fairly minor. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The serving spoon is 9 1/8 inches long.
The weight is 90.2 grams or 3.2 ounces.
