Presented is a fabulous quality, sterling silver serving spoon made by S. Kirk & Son Inc. during the 1920s or 1930s. This piece is in the Repousse pattern, which was patented in 1828. The handle is beautifully chased with raised flower designs and the bowl has a lovely, raised fruit design. This piece is a heavy weight for its size.
The back is hallmarked with the S. Kirk & Son Inc sterling silver mark used between 1925 to 1932.
This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. There is only minor surface wear to due to age and use but no damages and no repairs.
